Each of our miniatures are made with love and care in The Cotwolds, England. We strive to make them as close to their full-size counterparts as is possible, including their historic and aged appearance. We also believe it is important that the materials used in their manufacture also represent these Masters as best as we can achieve. We therefore use REAL Elm, Oak, Cedar, Walnut, metal, terracotta, copper, brass and glass in their construction.
 
We spend a great deal of time taking photographs and making scale drawings to create casting patterns and working plans. And to study the appropriate finishing technique required for each object. We hope this care is reflected in every item that we make.  
 
Based on original cast iron Victorian Spiral Stairs, each staircase are made to order to the height that you require and supplied finished and assembled, ready to install inside or outside your miniature house.
 
Each stair is made up of a cast metal riser frame with etched brass foot-plate, slid onto a brass tube centre pole. There are two ornate cast metal balustrade spindles (with miniature inserted threaded rod) bolted through this plate and attached to the curved metal handrail.
 
The top of the stairs are finished by a square landing frame and etched foot-plate with further balustrade spindles bolted through and topped by the continuing handrail. The handrail is terminated by scroll ends.
 
The stairs are supplied in a antiqued bronze finish. If you require them to be painted in your choice of colour please supply a BS or RAL paint code to match too. This painting is charged as an addition.
 
To ensure you receive your stairs made to the correct height, simply measure the floor to floor height in mm and decide on whether you require the stairs to run clockwise or anti-clockwise.
 
As each of our miniatures are hand made and finished, each are unique and individual collectors items. As such, each set of stairs are made to order, therefore please allow 8-12 weeks for delivery.
