Each of our miniatures are made with love and care in The Cotwolds. We strive to make them as close to their full-size counterparts as is possible, including their historic and aged appearance. We also believe it is important that the materials used in their manufacture also represent these Masters as best as we can achieve. We therefore use REAL Elm, Oak, Cedar, Walnut, metal, terracotta, copper, brass and glass in their construction.
 
We spend a great deal of time taking photographs and making scale drawings to create casting patterns and working plans. And to study the appropriate finishing technique required for each object. We hope this care is reflected in every item that we make.  
 
This miniature working slide bolt is made in brass with a steel bolt that slides across into the brass keep. The strong steel pin can be cut down to size with a pair of snips, allowing the bolt to cover a larger door gap if required. We suggest that the bolt is glued in place using a rapid setting two part epoxy glue. The finished bolt comes in a raw metal finish, ready for you to paint if required.
 
As each of our miniatures are hand made and finished, each are unique and individual collectors items. Therefore, when you order, it is likely you will receive the next one in the edition which will be slightly different to the photographs shown here.
